Getting into this business started with helping veterans understand the benefit they earned, and part of that came from not understanding it myself. When I first looked at using my own VA loan, I did not know what my entitlement covered, how the funding fee worked, or what I was allowed to do with it. Nobody explained it. I figured it out the hard way, and then I kept meeting other veterans in the same position.
The work grew from there. Some were first-time buyers who assumed homeownership was out of reach. Others were investors who needed someone who could keep pace with a deal. What they had in common was wanting to understand the thing before committing to it.
What I do
Whether you are a veteran using your benefit, a first-time buyer, an investor, or a homeowner weighing a refinance, we start the same way. Your situation first, not a product. What you can afford, what each option costs you over the life of the loan, and what has to happen between now and closing.
How I work
Working with many lenders rather than just one changes what is possible. Each has its own rules about what they will approve, so a no in one place is often a yes in another.
We talk, I learn your situation, and then I take it to the lenders that fit you. You only tell your story once.
You will always get the honest read. Sometimes that means moving now, and sometimes it means a few months of preparation puts you in a much stronger position.
